Groobirds
The Groobirds is a trio who perform their original songs. This trio has been described as funky and energetic trio. Nanako Sato is vocalist/pianist/keyboardist who also plays guitar and flute. Todd Jones plays bass and Matt Gibb plays drums in this trio. The trio has been performing at bars and cafés based in Christchurch and all around South island. Their original album has just been released in March. Apart from their original songs this trio will do jazz set, such as covers from American song books. Let them know in advance (couple weeks prior to the gig) if you want to some songs to be in their set-list on your special day.
